Talk about Gering GRIT! Both Gering High School Mock Trial teams made their mark at the District Mock Trial Tournament on November 2 at the Scotts Bluff County Courthouse, advancing to the district championship round after a full day of competition.
The Gering Blue team came out on top, defeating Scottsbluff and Gering Gold to claim the District Championship title and earn a spot at the State Mock Trial Championships in Lincoln on December 7–8! Gering Gold also delivered a strong performance, defeating Scottsbluff and Kimball to earn District Runner-Up honors.
Behind these accomplishments are students who have worked incredibly hard while balancing multiple fall activities and commitments. Their dedication and perseverance have certainly paid off!
