This weekend is shaping up to be a busy one in Gering! With the Gering/Scottsbluff Twin City Invite bringing 20 volleyball teams from across the region to town Friday and Saturday, along with Friday night’s Gering vs. Scottsbluff football game, fans should plan for increased traffic and busy parking areas around Gering High School and Gering Memorial Stadium.

Important Game-Day Reminders
Plan ahead: Expect more spectator and vehicle traffic than usual.
No Re-entry: Students who leave the game will not be allowed to return, even with a pass. Please plan accordingly.
Student sections: GMS and GHS students must sit in their school’s assigned student section or with their families.
Elementary students: Gering elementary students must be accompanied or supervised by a parent or responsible adult for the entirety of the game. A supervised no-play zone will be available.
Visiting side: Concessions and restrooms will be available on the visiting team side. Students will not be permitted to visit the opposing team side during the game.
No Bags: Backpacks will not be permitted inside the event except for players/coaches.
Grassy Areas: Please do not play or gather in the grassy areas around the stadium.
