Gering High School (GHS) & Gering Middle School (GMS)
Important Logistics Update
Steps are underway to replace our Gering track. In the meantime, due to its current condition, we are unable to use it for the 2026 spring season. We understand this presents a unique challenge.
Our coaches and Activities Office have worked hard to develop alternative logistics to ensure our student-athletes can continue to practice and compete successfully this season.
We are especially grateful for the collaboration with Scottsbluff Public Schools as they share their facility with us this spring. We look forward to a wonderful new Gering track in 2027.
General Guidelines for Families

Busing will run on tight schedules. Please ensure athletes are on time for departure.
We are guests at the Scottsbluff facility. Please encourage your student-athlete to:
Pick up trash
Respect equipment
Be outstanding stewards of borrowed facilities
If your student drives or you prefer to handle drop-off and pick-up, you are welcome to do so.
Communication will be key this season especially. Please reach out directly to coaches with any issues that arise.
