Free Summer Meals are Back Again for Kids in Gering
Children ages 1–18 will be able to secure healthy meals to get the nutrition they need. The Summer Food Service Program is one way to make sure kids are getting consistent meals this summer. Gering Public School District will begin the summer meal program Tuesday, May 30th and meals are offered free of charge to children 1-18. Breakfast and lunch will be served at all Gering school locations and there are no income requirements. Children do not have to be enrolled in the Gering Public Schools District.
Breakfast is served weekdays from 8:00-8:30am and lunch is from 11:15am to 12:30pm. Please see the individual building schedules below:

Meals are available for adults; the cost for an adult meal is $4.25
