Gering High School is proud of its exemplary programming in college preparatory curriculum, career and technical education, outstanding fine arts department and college credit opportunities. Outlined below are graduation requirements and course maps for each grade level. See below a menu of course descriptions and prerequisites.

Graduation Requirements

For specific questions related to your student, we encourage you to contact the GHS Counseling office at 308.436.3121. Counselors can review your student's Personal Learning Plan (PLP).

  • Summa Cum Laude:  4.0 grade point average or above

  • Magna Cum Laude:  3.9-3.99 grade point average

  • Cum Laude:  3.75-3.89 grade point average
