Junior High School houses Grades 7, 8, and the 9th Grade Freshman
Academy in a spacious facility that is technologically
advanced. A variety of learning opportunities are made available to
all students. Staff members are highly qualified and dedicated to
helping all students reach their full achievement potential.
Beginning in the fall of 2005 this building implemented a
Comprehensive School Reform Plan in an effort to increase
achievement in all academic areas. Three new curriculum programs
were implemented as part of this effort. These included Direct
Instruction for reading, REWARDS PLUS for science and social
studies to increase vocabulary, and Advanced Skills For School
Success to improve organizational and study skills.
