| Gering High School Class of 1960 Classmates: It is with great regret that I announce that your 50th high school reunion is to occur this coming summer during Oregon Trail Days. SERIOUSLY, your organizing committee and I hope you will get in touch with us so we can give you all the information you might need to communicate and attend. We have established a GHS 50th Reunion website at www.gering60.com. Please go there and provide your profile information. It is completely safe (well if you trust me, your faithful site administrator), without advertisement and no secondary use of contact information. All the information you need is on the website including the ability to let the committee know you are going to attend. As we get closer to the July timeframe, a lot more info will be provided. The website also provides an ability for you to let the committee know what things you might want to do (no water tower painting this time) to make the time together the best! Reunion Update Information Thanks to all that came to our meeting February 2, we had a lot of fun. There is nothing like our dear school friends. Friday, July 16th Saturday, July 17th Next Class Reunion Meeting will be at the Steel Grill, March 2, 2010 – 7:00 p.m. Until next time, ________________________________________ We will be meeting on February 2, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. Please plan to attend and bring addresses of fellow classmates. Local classmates are encouraged to attend so that we may get as We will be setting up contact information at this meeting. And also finalizing Thank you, Dear Class of "80": Oregon Trail Days is July 15th -18th, 2010 - we will be celebrating our 30th Class Reunion July 16th and 17th. We are in the early stages of making plans for our reunion. To date we are planning to meet at the residence of 1200 M Street, for a social time together, Friday, July 16th following the Food Fair. We plan to ride in the Oregon Trail Days Parade, Saturday Morning. We would also like to take a class picture either Friday night or Saturday night. Both nights will be casual dress. Saturday evening, July 17ths event is in the planning stages, we will keep everyone posted. Get in touch with our classmates and be sure to plan to attend our 30th Reunion. We look forward to seeing everyone. For those of us that live around the area, plan to get involved in the planning. Everyone's help is welcome. We'll try to keep everyone up to date as often as possible. In the mean time please spread the word! We can't wait to get together and catch up. |
