The Gering Public School District is located in the panhandle of western Nebraska. Our district currently consists of a pre-school, five elementary schools, a junior high school, and a high school. Gering is located directly south of Scottsbluff, separated by the North Platte River. Together the communities are referred to as the Twin Cities and serve as the population hub for the panhandle of Nebraska.
