Infinite Campus Portal

As a parent, have you ever wished you could track your child’s grades, attendance, and other pertinent information without having to contact his/her school? There is great news for the patrons of Gering Public Schools. The district has upgraded student information systems to a web-based system called Infinite Campus. Parents/guardians will soon have an opportunity to create an account that will allow them to view student information via the web. If a parent/guardian has multiple children attending Gering Public Schools, they will have the ability to see information about all of their children from a single account. The system will allow a user to view only their child’s information.
Parents/guardians of Gering High School and Gering Junior High School students have the opportunity to use the system. To activate your parent account, you must complete a "Web Access Agreement for Viewing Student Information Via Gering Public Schools Infinite Campus Parent Portal" form and return the form in person to the school office along with a photo id. The office personnel will give you a printout with your "Person GUID" and instruction sheet that will help lead you through the creation of your account.
Parent accounts and student information at Cedar Canyon, Geil, Haig, Lincoln, and Northfield will be available in the near future. The system is new, and the staff is becoming familiar with various functions and features. As the staff becomes comfortable with its use and information is verified, arrangements will be made for all parents/guardians to acquire their account. Watch for correspondence from your child’s school with more detailed information.

The mission statement of the district is: “The mission of Gering Public Schools is to develop the academic, personal and social skills of all students and to prepare them to be productive, responsible global citizens of the 21st century.” Gering Public Schools believes that Infinite Campus will allow parents/guardians the opportunity to become more involved with their child’s quest to meet that mission.
